Reina Carrasco is a performance consultant, with experience in the design and development of technical and non-technical training programs for projects ranging in scope from small, independent operations to global initiatives. Prior to entering the field of consulting, Reina held positions in retail management, human resource development, operations and organization development giving her a broad generalist background.  In her 20+ years of professional experience, Reina has worked with clients such as BP America, Shell Oil, Equiva, ConocoPhillips, Waste Management, Anadarko and Halliburton to:

  • Develop new job positions, work flows and process diagrams
  • Write policies and proceduresConduct job analyses and task analyses
  • Develop assessment instruments to define and assess training needs and recommend training interventions that are aligned with business strategies
  • Design, develop and implement training that supports business strategies and performance objectives
  • Evaluate existing training programs and recommend improvements
  • Manage training development projects and project personnel
  • Facilitate groups toward the achievement of meeting objectives 

Representative projects include:

  • Facilitating work groups through the development of workflow and process flow diagrams
  • Design, development and implementation of training needs assessment and training program evaluation surveys
  • Design and development of training for in-store operations of convenience stores/gas stations for a major oil company.
  • Design and development of training for a world-wide project management initiative for a major oil company
  • Design and development of training for a variety of topics such as: new hire, customer service, quality, safety, project management, risk management, supply chain management, supervisory skills, diversity, interpersonal skills, problem solving and proprietary software
  • Converting classroom training into reference modules for delivery via the internet 

Education and Professional Affiliations

Reina received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a Human Resource emphasis from Pepperdine University in Malibu California.  She is a member of the International Society for Performance Improvement.
