Thomas Pinney brings Stratos, LLC over 25 years experience in project management, process development, leadership, team building, and high technology system implementation. His extensive military, industry, and consulting experience has given him proven expertise in the following areas:           

Before coming to Stratos, Thomas worked as a program manager developing servers for the Blade Server Division at Hewlett Packard and as lead for process improvement for project management. He has broad experience in a wide variety of projects,  including information technology, oil and gas, construction, mold assessment, and Geographic Information Systems.

Thomas is a retired Captain in the United States Navy, with 24 years of duty as a Surface Line Officer including service in four destroyers, as the Operations Officer in a Destroyer Squadron, and in the Planning and Operations Department for the Pacific Fleet. He is a published author of three novels.

Thomas has a BA in Management from Eckerd College, and an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, with an emphasis in High Technology Systems Acquisition.
