Ruth Pinney brings to Stratos, LLC more than 25 years experience in the areas of failure analysis, technology transfer and environmental research and development. From her prior military and consulting experience, Ruth
has demonstrated expertise in the following areas:

- R & D Leadership and Management
- Technology Transfer
- Human Performance Enhancement
Prior to coming to Stratos, Ruth provided consulting services in the areas of forensic environmental, chemical, and toxicological evaluations; environmental and safety training, and property condition assessments. Ruth has experience in
related toxicological evaluations including exposure and dose evaluations, environmental risk assessment and environmental health and safety. Ruth has assisted industry and government in developing programs for compliance with multiple
laws and regulations pertaining to pollution prevention, hazardous materials management, air emissions, wastewater discharge, surface water quality and groundwater quality. Her experience in indoor environmental quality includes
assessments of residential homes, commercial buildings and maritime vessels for contaminants of biological, mineral, radiological and chemical origins.
Ruth is a retired Commander of the US Naval Reserves. She served in Naval Control of Shipping and Office of Naval Research commands. She serves as the President and Chairperson of the Global Children’s Foundation and is a member of
the Sigma Xi Research Society, Naval Reserve Association, and the Society of Toxicology.
Ruth received a B.S. in biology from Stephen F. Austin State University, a M.S. in biology from University of Houston at Clear Lake and a Ph.D. in Nutrition (special emphasis chemical sensing) from Columbus University.
