Meeting Management

Why Meeting Management Skills Are Important

Meetings are often viewed as the curse of modern business life. In many cases, the higher up a person is within a company, the more time they are expected to spend in meetings. Effective meeting management has become an essential, yet still uncommon, skill. The Stratos Meeting Management Workshop is designed to help managers develop those skills.

Stratos Meeting Management Workshop Overview

The content of this workshop is normally customized based on feedback from the proposed participants on the type of meetings to be managed and specific organizational norms and cultural expectations of the expected meeting participants. The basic skills and skill practices are different for managing a small group meeting, a large group meeting or a virtual meeting (teleconference, videoconference or net meeting.) The Stratos meeting management process seeks to ensure that meetings will be effective, time efficient and judged as a value-added activity by participants.
